This week we learned "W" questions.

Using National Day as example:
(1) When is the National Day ?
(2) Where is the National Day Parade ?
(3) Why we celebrate National Day ?
(4) Who celebrate National Day ?
(5) What can we see during National Day Parade ?

Art and Craft lesson

Learn to use digital camera

Next Monday and Thursday, we will learn how to use digital camera or hand phone to take nice pictures. After that we will use picture editor to modify the pictures.

We are allowed to bring digital camera or hand phone to school on next Monday and Thursday, if we have one.

CCA resumes this week

We are told that CCA resumes this week except swimming lesson, because it is conducted outside the school.

Racial Harmony Day Celebration

Next Tuesday, our school will be celebrating

Mr Lim encourages us to bring our traditional costumes to school and change. There will be competition among the classes.

So we will not have PE lesson on next Tuesday, but we may still have Domestic Science lesson.

Spelling on next Monday, 20 July

Next Monday we have spelling on Days of the Week and Months of the Year.

I should practice the spelling during the weekend, so that i can score better marks on Monday.

Days of the Week

We arrange Days of the Week according to the order.

We spell out the words using letter cards.

Setting up the laptop and projector

Wei Leong and Ching Hui help to set up the laptop and projector.

Taking body temperature

Everyday we take our body temperature 2 times. The first time is when we arrive in school, the second time is before or after the recess.

Pamela, Wei Xiang and Sheena will take turn to help to record the readings of temperature.

Ordinal Numbers

Today we learn 'Ordinal Numbers":

1 is first
2 is second
3 is third
4 is fourth
5 is fifth
6 is sixth
7 is seventh
8 is eighth
9 is ninth
10 is tenth

Spelling test on 'Number Words'

Today we have spelling test on "Number Words" from "one" to "one hundred".
This time most of us have prepared for the test during the weekend.
Mr Lim is very happy.

Wei Xiang wrote all the number words and he also has spelling test at home before the actual test in school.

Spelling on "Number Words"

We will have spelling on "Number Words" next Monday, 13 July.
The spelling will cover from "one" all the way to "one hundred".

Actually we only need to learn the followings:
(1) one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
(2) eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty
(3) thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, one hundred

"26" will be "twenty-six"
"89" will be "eighty-nine"

and etc.

CCA suspended

Our Vice Principal, Mr Anuwar told us that CCA would be suspended until further notice, except special arrangement for some of the events.

Notices will be given out for these special events.

Spelling on next Tuesday

Mr Lim said next Tuesday we have spelling.
Try to learn at least five words.

The words are:
(1) delicious
(2) represent
(3) dictionary
(4) plastic
(5) strawberry
(6) chocolate
(7) flavour
(8) spelling
(9) drain
(10) choke

Splattering with toothbrush

Mr Lim taught us how to use the toothbrush and paint to do splattering. We also used fork to add on more patterns.
